Qualifications

Company Information

Daumar is an automated packaging machinery manufacturer for the fresh produce industry. Our business is growing, and we are in need of a great Service Technician for installing and servicing packaging machinery.

Job Duties

1. Installing new machinery
2. Conducting operator training for new equipment installations
3. Servicing existing customer’s machinery
4. Investigating complaints and resolving machinery issues
5. Daily documentation of service and installation visits

Skills/Qualifications

• Knowledge of low voltage DC electronics
• Knowledge of 3 phase motors
• Mechanical knowledge, industrial maintenance, or automotive technician background is preferred
• Knowledge of pneumatic actuators, sensors, and electro valves
• Ability to troubleshoot electronics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems together
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to complete job duties unsupervised
• Fluent in English; Spanish speaking is a plus
• Valid US Driver's license
• Well organized with a professional appearance

Education: Associates Degree in electronics or applicable work experience.

This is an on-site position requiring travel between multiple sites in South New Jersey and the greater Philadelphia area. Candidates should be located near these areas.
