Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a service technician to repair and maintain electric, diesel, and gasoline industrial trucks and equipment. You will read work orders, diagnose issues, perform mechanical repairs, and document work details with precise model/serial information.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 months of related experience, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. You will communicate with customers, prepare estimates when needed, and ensure safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 months related experience or training is preferred.
• Knowledge of internet software is required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance instructions, write routine reports, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and listen to the truck to diagnose malfunctions.
• Propose solutions and provide estimates when appropriate.
• Perform mechanical repairs after inspection and analysis.
• Record full repair details on work orders with model and serial numbers.
• Obtain customer signature and communicate repair needs or completed work.
• Inspect guards, bolts, and safety devices and adjust as needed.
• Lubricate moving parts and test drive repaired trucks to confirm specifications.
• Maintain professional image and vehicle cleanliness at all times.
• Submit time cards daily and coordinate with service coordinators.
