Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation seeks a Field Service Technician III to install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify our products at customer sites. You will manage field assets, track status, and train customers onsite, while building strong customer relationships.

This role requires travel outside the continental US, up to 90 days per deployment, and a DoD security clearance; FCC/GROL or related certifications are a plus in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience as a technician or in a related field.
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Ability to understand and interpret basic technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications.
• Progressive experience using troubleshooting techniques.
• Thorough understanding of electrical wiring concepts.
• Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of time.
• Deployment up to 90 days OCONUS may be required at supervisor's discretion.
• Ability to obtain a passport and visa to travel internationally.
• United States Government Security Clearance is required; process will be coordinated by SNC.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify SNC products at customer or field locations.
• Update and track status of field-related equipment.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and provide onsite training.
• Travel as needed to support field operations and deployments.
