Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. seeks a Maintenance and Service Technician in the Greater Baton Rouge area.

This residence-based position travels daily to customer sites within roughly a 200-mile radius, installing, repairing, and maintaining cryogenic liquid and gas delivery systems including pumping and high-pressure compression. You will work with a company truck, gas card, and tools, and contribute to reliable operation of nitrogen, oxygen, argon, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, and helium

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED; trade/technical training is preferred.
• Safety-focused with ability to work outdoors in all weather and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with brazing is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain cryogenic liquid and gas delivery systems in the greater Baton Rouge area.
• Be the primary interface between Air Products and customers, coordinating with field, management, sales, and engineering.
• Develop work scopes for equipment repair and overhaul and participate in safety programs.
• Promote safety rules and environmental compliance on site.
• Travel and be available for on-call duties as required.
