Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician II in Chantilly, VA to install, troubleshoot, and maintain two-way radio and wireless communications systems. You will program codeplugs, support RF infrastructure, and work with Motorola, Kenwood, ICOM, and Vertex equipment.

The role demands strong RF knowledge, schematics literacy, and a customer-first approach. A valid driver's license and ability to pass screenings are required, with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive

Qualifications

Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent experience preferred.
3+ years of field experience with two-way radio or wireless systems.
Strong RF knowledge with UHF/VHF and 800/900 MHz.
Experience with radio programming and codeplug management.
Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams.
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass screenings.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain wireless communications equipment.
Program radio codeplugs and manage configurations.
Support DAS/BDA systems and RF infrastructure.
Use test equipment to diagnose issues (spectrum analyzers, service monitors, meters).
Provide exceptional customer support and recommendations.
