Job summary

BearCom, the largest distributor of wireless solutions in North America, is hiring a Field Service Technician II in the Denver area. You will install and support wireless communications systems, diagnose and repair RF equipment, and provide exceptional customer service across diverse customer sites.

The role requires strong electronics background, ability to read schematics, and proficiency with test equipment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of service technician experience diagnosing, repairing, programming, and installing Motorola, Kenwood, ICOM, Vertex equipment in the 2-way radio wireless field.
• Strong understanding of two-way radio theory and RF propagation across frequency bands.
• Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install and service wireless communications equipment (UHF/VHF and 800/900 MHz systems, dispatch consoles, DAS/BDA systems).
• Diagnose, repair, program, and install RF equipment with test devices (spectrum analyzers, wattmeters, TDRs, multi-meters).
• Travel regionally and participate in on-call rotation as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support at customer sites.
