Job summary

Shorr Packaging Corp. is seeking a Field Service Technician II to install, set up, repair, and maintain packaging equipment at customer facilities and Shorr warehouses.

The role includes traveling to local and remote sites, training others, and supporting sales as needed. Candidates should have at least five years in equipment maintenance or related electromechanical fields, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and hold a High School Diploma.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in equipment maintenance, HVAC, military electrical or mechanical, or electromechanical experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; PLC programming knowledge preferred.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, install/assemble, test, adjust, and disassemble all packaging equipment.
• Repair packaging equipment. Diagnose problems, estimate labor time, and complete repair.
• Perform routine maintenance on all equipment.
• Assist with moving packaging equipment.
• Assist and train other Shorr Service Technicians and customer personnel.
• Assist sales reps in equipment sales.
• Improve customer satisfaction by promoting company services and products.
