Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Field Service Technician II in Pittsburgh, PA for on-site service and support of hydraulics and related equipment. You will perform installation, diagnostics, repair, and preventative maintenance at customer sites with regional responsibility.

The role requires a technical degree and 3–5 years of related experience. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this customer-focused position.

Qualifications

• Technical degree required; 3–5 years related experience or equivalent.
• Strong ability to read hydraulic schematics and interpret diagrams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site services for new and existing clients, including on-site emergency repairs, equipment servicing and upgrades on a 24/7 on-call basis.
• Responsible for installation, diagnostics, repair and support for equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose problems, assess extent, document findings, and decide on repair or replacement parts.
• Provides technical analysis of product implementations and enhancements to meet customer specs.
• Keeps customers informed on service status and recommends system upgrades or repairs.
• May lead small to moderate projects at customer sites.
