Andersen Corporation is seeking a Window Repair/Inspection Service Technician to deliver and execute service solutions that elevate the Customer Experience on customer sites. You will dismantle and replace windows/doors, perform repairs, and install parts while representing the Andersen brand and promoting long-term product use.

The role requires reading service orders, working independently or in a team, and maintaining safety and warranty policies.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years in window/door installation or service or carpentry preferred.
• Ability to read service orders and technical documentation.

In addition to representing the Andersen brand and encourage/promote the long-term use of Andersen Enterprise products and services. Promote corporate goodwill while limiting liability to the enterprise.Direct Delivery of service solutions for customers to promote the value of the Andersen brand. Dismantles and replaces windows and doors in a customer setting, respectful of the customer’s environment.Performs repairs to windows / doors and installs replacement parts and product on the jobsite as prescribed. Works independently or as part of a team, as necessary.Presents a professional image while completing repairs, adjustments and replacements in a timely manner.Enforces warranty compliance. Communicates and disseminates warranty policy information.Completes documentation accurately and promptly (ex, Expense Reports, Job Assessments, Hours, Travel Advance). Completes electronic paperwork of assigned tasks in an accurate manner.Able to monitor and document product performance. Communicates with responsible service support personnel on issues or product performance observations and trends.Tactfully resolve difficult situations with customers (internal/external)Maximizes customer experience process by offering in-home labor, sales, and surveys to customers while on job sites.Adheres to all Andersen Window and Door policies, procedures and processes.Maintains proper vehicle and equipment maintenance including Inventory management located in the vehicle or other facility.Travel – in (and very occasionally outside) of the primary territory.Travel outside primary market area to support service organization in secondary markets.Assists in product and service procedure trainingIn-home selling of options and upgrades, including labor.Other field service / support duties as assignedVery limited direction of others on jobsites/field projectsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required2+ years of experience in window/door installation, service, or general carpentry preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsFamiliarity with Andersen products or similar window/door systems is a plusAbility to read service orders, technical documentation, and parts catalogsValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordAbility to work independently and manage time effectively in a field environmentPAY RANGE:$31.15 - $45.15CULTURE AND BENEFITS:At Andersen, we believe our people are at the heart of everything we do.
