Job summary

Rees Scientific is seeking a Field Service Technician II to install, troubleshoot, repair and calibrate monitoring equipment in regulated environments. You will ensure accurate calibrations, perform preventive maintenance, and communicate with customers on service progress.

This role requires hands-on electrical/mechanical skills, ability to read schematics, operate diagnostic tools, and maintain thorough service records while traveling to customer sites within the region.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with installing, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and inspecting monitoring equipment.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, or computer networking equipment.
• Ability to read schematics and technical docs.
• Willingness to travel to customer facilities within the region.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot monitoring equipment at customer sites.
• Verify setup and configuration for proper functionality.
• Diagnose issues during calibration and perform repairs.
• Calibrate and inspect equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Document data and support IOQ protocols.
• Provide updates to customers on maintenance progress.
• Manage inventory of parts for on-site service.
• Collaborate with technical support to resolve issues.
