Tennant Company is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose equipment issues at customer sites and keep Tennant products running. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and communicate timelines and needs to customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and meet Tennant driving policy.
• 2–3 years of troubleshooting and repair experience on mechanical/electrical systems.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
• Using hand and power tools and diagnostic devices (multimeter, voltmeter, etc.).
• PC proficiency including MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and resolve complex problems by troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems and engine problems.
• Own your territory and plan daily schedule, including contacting customers to schedule service activities and maintain open communication on timelines.
• Create and maintain records of all service activities and reporting documentation.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of company vehicle, tools, parts, inventory and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and use proper PPE.
• Collaborate with internal partners such as sales, customer service, technical assistance and other technicians.
