Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Field Service Technician II to perform testing, maintenance and repair of low and medium voltage electrical equipment in the shop and in the field.

The role requires 1–5 years of related experience, 2+ years in power systems testing, and a high school diploma; reading schematics and using test equipment are essential. Company benefits include comprehensive coverage and retirement options, with salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts and geometry.
• Perform regular field work indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on low and medium voltage breakers and transformers.
• Complete mechanical work and repairs on breakers and switches.
• Wire circuit breakers and read test equipment.
• Read schematics and wiring drawings.
• Troubleshoot circuit breaker controls.
• Plot time-current curves and test Power Factor and TTR.
• Document activities using Power DB.
• Use electrical tools and socket sets as required.
