Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals seeks a Road Mechanic to service a diverse fleet in challenging remote locations. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, pumps, HVAC and power systems, with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment or heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (CDL may be required in some locations).
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment.
• Diagnose and repair diesel and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime.
• Work in diverse, sometimes remote locations in a safe, efficient manner.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and inspection techniques to ensure equipment reliability.
