Job summary

NCR Atleos is seeking Field Service Technicians for a field-based role in Newburgh, NY. You will install, service, and maintain electromechanical equipment including ATMs and self-checkout systems, across an assigned territory, with a focus on rapid issue resolution and customer satisfaction.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, PC skills, and the ability to travel; training is provided. Local candidates in the United States with a valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Local candidate to the United States
• Authorized to work in the United States
• At least 19 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets NCR Atleos fleet requirements
• PC skills, basic electronic skills, and operating system familiarity
• Ability to perform essential job functions without reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged travel with several hours of driving per day
• Rotating and weekend shifts
• Carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and repetitive hand movements

Responsibilities

• Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
• Service and repair electromechanical equipment, including ATMs and self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory
• Perform scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, and system overhauls
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving hardware, software, networking, and system configurations
• Manage network faults, system access, security settings, and remote connectivity
• Organize and triage customer issues, addressing problems proactively when possible
• Communicate with customers in an open, helpful, and professional manner focused on resolution
• Participate in virtual and hands-on training programs provided by NCR Atleos
• Comply with NCR Atleos policies, including Shared Values, Code of Conduct, health and safety standards, accurate timekeeping, and fleet and safe driving requirements
• May be reassigned to adjacent service territories during standard shifts to meet operational needs
• May elect to participate in overnight travel assignments to support broader service coverage; all travel follows established company policy and reimbursement guidelines
