Overview:

Remote Work: Yes

Provides onsite repair services of Zebra devices/solutions, according to service contract requirements.

Location: Candidates located east of Sacramento, CA, preferably in Dixon, Davis, or Fairfield, CA.

Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrate positive customer interaction skills, responsiveness, and active listening.
2. Evaluate and validate customer service requests, perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and testing of Zebra devices or solutions. Keep customers informed of service status.
3. Manage customer SLAs, develop knowledge of contract entitlements, and participate in after-hours/standby rotations.
4. Proactively manage parts inventory to meet SLA requirements.
5. Record work activities, analyze operational data, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Ensure compliance with productivity, quality, safety, and industry standards.
7. Maintain tools and equipment, develop repair skills, and collaborate with other teams to improve product reliability.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of field service experience with hardware repairs, including printers, mobile computing, and/or cell phones.
• Reliable transportation capable of carrying spare parts.

Preferred Requirements:

• Associate's degree or certification (preferred).
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet, with lift certification preferred.
• Physical ability to climb, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in MS Office, strong organizational and communication skills.
• Clean driving record and willingness to complete Weights & Measures certification.

Travel: 100% local in the assigned territory.
