Job summary

Evergreen Medical Services is seeking a Field Service Technician to service hospitals and healthcare facilities, performing medical gas compliance testing, certification, and repair work, and documenting field activities accurately. You will travel daily in a company‑provided vehicle, lift 50–100 lbs, and troubleshoot pumps, compressors, manifolds and small electronics.

Excellent problem‑solving and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; ASSE6010/6030/6040 certifications encouraged.
• Customer service experience and mechanical/electrical aptitude preferred.
• Willingness to learn new technical work and grow in the role.

Responsibilities

As a Field Service Technician, you'll be out in the field every day — visiting hospitals and healthcare facilities, performing medical gas compliance and environmental testing, and building real relationships with customers who count on you. Your Day-to-Day Environment

• Travel daily to customer sites in your assigned territory


• Work independently out of your own company-provided service vehicle


• Lift, carry, and move equipment weighing 50–100lbs while standing and walking for most of the day

What You'll Take Ownership Of

• Travel to hospitals and healthcare facilities to perform medical gas compliance testing, certification, and repair services.


• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, compressors, manifolds, and small electronics.


• Test and certify medical gas systems and perform environmental monitoring services.


• Complete field documentation and administrative tasks accurately and on time.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree is a plus)


• Requires some relevant customer service, mechanical and/or electrical experience


• Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn new technical work


• Additional accreditation and certification will be earned such as ASSE6010, 6030, or 6040


• Experience working in healthcare environments is a plus.


• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Equivalent combinations of education, training, or hands‑on experience are welcome.
