Job summary

Technical Safety Services is seeking a Field Service Technician based in Edison, NJ. In this role, you will travel daily to hospitals and healthcare facilities, performing medical gas compliance testing and repairs. You will work independently out of your company-provided service vehicle and have the opportunity to earn between $24.00 and $33.00 an hour.

Candidates should possess a high school diploma and relevant experience in customer service and mechanical work. The company offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with generous PTO and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Some relevant customer service, mechanical and/or electrical experience.
• Additional accreditation such as ASSE6010, 6030, or 6040 may be earned.
• Experience working in healthcare environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travel to hospitals for medical gas compliance testing.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, compressors, and small electronics.
• Complete field documentation accurately.

Your Day-to-Day Environment

• Travel daily to customer sites in your assigned territory
• Work independently out of your own company-provided service vehicle
• Lift, carry, and move equipment weighing 50–100lbswhile standing and walking for most of the day

What You'll Take Ownership Of

• Travel to hospitals and healthcare facilities to perform medical gas compliance testing, certification, and repair services.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, compressors, manifolds, and small electronics.
• Test and certify medical gas systems and perform environmental monitoring services.
• Complete field documentation and administrative tasks accurately and on time.
