Job summary

Evergreen Medical Services (EMS) is seeking a Field Service Technician to support hospitals and healthcare facilities with medical gas testing, certification, and environmental monitoring. You will travel in a company-provided vehicle, perform on-site testing, and address equipment issues in a fast-paced, customer-facing role.

The job emphasizes hands-on problem solving, independent work in the field, and reliable documentation.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in field or healthcare settings preferred.
• Mechanical and/or electrical technical aptitude required.
• Willingness to learn new technical tasks and environments.
• Experience with medical gas systems or environmental testing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to hospitals and healthcare facilities within the assigned territory.
• Perform medical gas compliance testing, certification, and repair services.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, compressors, manifolds, and small electronics.
• Complete field documentation accurately and on time.

As a Field Service Technician, you'llbe outinthe field every day — visiting hospitals and healthcare facilities, performing medical gas compliance and environmental testing, and building real relationships with customers who count on you. If you like hands-on work, solving problems, and staying on the move, this is the job for you.

Your Day-to-Day Environment

• Travel daily to customer sites in your assigned territory
• Work independently out of your own company-provided service vehicle
• Lift, carry, and move equipment weighing 50–100lbs while standing and walking for most of the day

What You'll Take Ownership Of

• Travel to hospitals and healthcare facilities to perform medical gas compliance testing, certification, and repair services.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, compressors, manifolds, and small electronics.
• Test and certify medical gas systems and perform environmental monitoring services.
• Complete field documentation and administrative tasks accurately and on time.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree is a plus)
• Requires some relevant customer service, mechanical and/or electrical experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technical work
• Additional accreditation and certification will be earned such as ASSE6010, 6030, or 6040
• Experience working in healthcare environments is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
