Job summary

NCR Atleos in Cincinnati is seeking a field service technician to perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively. You will service ATMs and self-checkout systems within assigned territory.

Candidates should have PC and basic electronics skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel and work rotating weekends. Certification in A+/CompTIA/N Network+ preferred.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in electromechanical repair or field service is preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license with a suitable driving record.
• PC skills and basic electronic skills; familiarity with operating systems.
• Ability to travel with several hours of driving per day; weekend shifts.
• A+/CompTIA/Network+ certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
• Service and repair electromechanical equipment, including ATMs and self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, and system overhauls.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving hardware, software, networking, and system configurations.
• Manage network faults, system access, security settings, and remote connectivity.
• Organize and triage customer issues, addressing problems proactively when possible.
• Communicate with customers in an open, helpful, and professional manner focused on resolution.
• Participate in training programs provided by NCR Atleos.
• Comply with NCR Atleos policies including safety standards.
• Perform other related duties consistent with qualifications and business needs.
• May be reassigned to adjacent service territories and travel overnight to support coverage.

• Service and repair electromechanical equipment, including ATMs and self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory
• Perform scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, and system overhauls
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving hardware, software, networking, and system configurations
• Manage network faults, system access, security settings, and remote connectivity
• Organize and triage customer issues, addressing problems proactively when possible
• Communicate with customers in an open, helpful, and professional manner focused on resolution
• Participate in virtual and hands-on training programs provided by NCR Atleos
• Comply with NCR Atleos policies, including Shared Values, Code of Conduct, health and safety standards, accurate timekeeping, and fleet and safe driving requirements
• Perform other related duties consistent with qualifications and business needs
• May be reassigned to adjacent service territories during standard shifts to meet operational needs
• May elect to participate in overnight travel assignments to support broader service coverage

Requirements

• Local candidate to the specific geographic area
• Authorized to work in the United States
• At least 19 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets NCR Atleos fleet requirements
• PC skills, basic electronic skills, and operating system familiarity
• Ability to perform essential job functions without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to travel with several hours of driving per day
• Ability to work rotating and weekend shifts
• Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
• Ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements manipulating objects of various sizes
• Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software
• A+ Certification, CompTIA, or Network+ (N+) Certification preferred
• One (1) or more years of related experience preferred
