Job summary

NCR Atleos seeks an on-site ATM technician to represent the brand at customer locations, perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting, and communicate clearly via the service app. You will plan time, follow safety procedures, and complete required training to ensure reliable ATM availability.

The role requires physical capability, a valid US work authorization, and the ability to travel as needed. Reliable transportation is essential for daily duties.

Qualifications

• Represent the NCR Atleos brand as the first line of response on-site at customer locations
• Perform basic module-level (FRU) troubleshooting on ATMs
• Organize and plan time effectively and elevate issues appropriately
• Apply on-the-job training to resolve task-related problems using manual skills
• Provide consistent and clear communication through the service app to maintain customer satisfaction
• Follow safety and security procedures when working on ATMs
• Complete NCR Atleos training and certifications
• Diagnose ATM problems using error logs, service-app information, and a company-provided cell phone
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs on indoor and outdoor ATMs
• Report work updates, details, and call-closure information accurately and promptly
• Maintain parts inventory and related records
• Report hours worked and miles driven daily
• Work on a call-by-call dispatch basis or according to a daily schedule

Requirements

• Must reside in the specified geographic area
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting company requirements
• Reliable transportation for work purposes
• Familiarity with and ability to use an Android cell phone
• Ability to travel for several hours during the workday, including in inclement weather
• Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
• Ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, work with hands, and repetitively grasp and manipulate objects
• Proof and maintenance of minimum insurance coverage: Bodily Injury Liability of $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident; Property Damage Liability of $100,000 per accident
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, overtime, and/or flex shifts
• Ability to work safely outside during all seasons with potential exposure to the elements
• High level of personal integrity and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude, skillset, and knowledge
• Good problem-solving skills, ability to learn new skills quickly, and ability to work well under pressure
• Associate degree preferred
• Previous experience with NCR or similar equipment preferred
