Job summary

NCR Voyix in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Field Service Technician I to install, service and repair electromechanical self‑checkout systems for major retailers. You will triage issues, perform preventive maintenance and deliver prompt on‑site support with a customer‑focused approach.

Local residency, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and willingness to travel within the territory are required; comprehensive training is provided to grow technical and service skills.

Qualifications

• Local candidate to a specific geographic area.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and driving record that satisfies NCRV fleet requirements.
• PC skills, basic electronic skills, and some specific hardware and operating system familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
• Service electromechanical equipment like self‑checkout systems within an assigned territory.
• Perform maintenance, repair, PM work, and system overhauls.
