Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Road Mechanic to join our service team. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair at customer locations, working with a fleet that includes aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC and oil/gas equipment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in varied environments. Training provided; benefits package available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–2 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment or heavy construction equipment.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; CDL may be required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair equipment at the customer's location.
• Work on a variety of makes, models and equipment in challenging remote locations.
• Support career development in service or operation management; ensure safety and efficiency.
