Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Road Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and advanced diagnostics at customer sites. You will work on a variety of makes and models, in remote locations, supporting uptime and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. CDL may be required in some locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–2 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment or heavy construction equipment preferred
• Valid driver’s license; CDL may be required in some locations

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose/repair at the customer’s location
• Work on a variety of makes and models in challenging remote locations
