Job summary

Cumberland Farms is seeking a Field Technician to travel to store locations and perform maintenance on a variety of commercial food service equipment. You will work with dispatchers and supervisors to manage workloads and complete calls on time.

Responsibilities include repairs, preventative maintenance, inventory management on the service truck, and maintaining the vehicle. Strong independence and the ability to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Willingness to travel to multiple store locations.
• Experience in equipment maintenance or service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair and refurbish commercial food service equipment (frozen beverage, fountain, gas dispensing, refrigerated cases).
• Perform preventative maintenance on beverage and food service equipment.
• Manage truck parts inventory with weekly cycle counts.
• Travel to multiple store locations; work independently most of the time.
• Coordinate with dispatchers to prioritize work and maximize equipment uptime.
• Update job status and notes in the work order system; keep detailed records.
• Keep service vehicle clean and stocked with parts; perform other duties as assigned.
