Job summary

Cumberland Farms is seeking a Field Technician to travel to store locations to service and repair various commercial food service equipment. You will coordinate with dispatchers to manage workload and complete calls promptly.

The role requires 0–2 years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred trade or associate education. Travel is required; overtime may be needed, with training and benefit programs included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade school or associate's degree preferred.
• 0–2 years related maintenance experience required.
• Experience repairing food service equipment (Taylor or FBD) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair/refurbish food service equipment (frozen beverage, soda, coffee brewers, gas dispensing equipment, refrigerated cases).
• Perform preventive maintenance on service equipment.
• Manage parts inventory on service truck; conduct weekly counts.
• Travel to multiple store locations and work independently most times.
• Receive dispatches and prioritize work to maximize equipment uptime.
• Update job status and notes in the work order system.
