Job summary

Baxter Healthcare is seeking a Field Service Technician I in Tulsa, OK to prepare products for patient use, perform cleaning, disinfection, function checks and minor repairs of Baxter and non-Baxter medical devices. The role includes 24/7 on-call support, customer contact, and driving a range of service vehicles.

You will support delivery, repair, and readiness for patient utilization, working within hospital and service center environments while ensuring safety and efficiency in high-stakes

Qualifications

• Performs electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair of assigned products.
• Ability to troubleshoot devices and repair malfunctioning components.
• Ability to use the appropriate tools for required adjustments and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Performs electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair of assigned products.
• Ability to troubleshoot devices and repair any malfunctioning components.
• Ability to use the appropriate tools in making required adjustments and repairs.
• Provide on-call coverage, up to 24/7 basis including weekends and holidays, which may require customer account visits.
• Load, unload, and remove medical products weighing up to 1,680 pounds.
• Generate service revenue and complete activities required under service contract.
• Safely operate box truck vehicle or company car ranging from a cargo van up to a 26,000 pound truck.
