Job summary

Baxter International Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Field Service Technician I to prepare products for patient use, disinfect, perform function checks, and carry out repairs on Baxter and non-Baxter products. This role requires operating a fleet vehicle and providing timely service to healthcare facilities.

You will join a team delivering essential field service in hospital and service settings, supporting 24/7 coverage and ensuring safe, reliable product readiness for patient utilization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong troubleshooting of electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Willingness to travel in a field service role.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on medical devices.
• Use appropriate tools to adjust and repair components.
• Provide on-call coverage, up to 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
• Load, unload, and move medical products up to 1680 pounds.
• Generate service revenue and complete activities under service contracts.
• Safely operate a box truck or company car from cargo van to 26,000 pounds.
