Job summary

Baxter Healthcare in Oklahoma City is seeking a Field Service Technician II to repair lifesaving medical devices and restore hospital devices to service after repairs. You will work independently, manage on-call responsibilities, and contribute to timely device availability for patient care.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 21+ years old, a valid driver’s license, and prior technical repair experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Obtain and maintain a DOT physical card required.
• Prior technical or mechanical repair work required.
• Applicable technical or trade school training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on assigned products.
• Troubleshoot devices and repair malfunctioning components.
• Use the appropriate tools to make required adjustments and repairs.
• Provide on-call coverage, up to 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
• Load, unload, and move medical products, weighing up to 1680 pounds.
• Generate service revenue and complete activities under service contract.
• Safely operate a fleet vehicle ranging from a cargo van up to a 26,000 pound truck.
