Job summary

Baxter is hiring a Field Service Technician I to ensure patient readiness for a wide range of medical products. You will perform cleaning, disinfection, checks, and minor repairs, interacting directly with customers to ensure timely service.

The role includes on-call coverage, driving a range of vehicles, and supporting 24/7 delivery and service. Eligible candidates must meet safety and driving requirements and be prepared for travel.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and driving record.
• Basic mathematical skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Responsibilities

• Performs electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair of assigned products.
• Troubleshoot devices and repair malfunctioning components.
• Use the appropriate tools in making required adjustments and repairs.
• Provide on-call coverage, up to 24/7 basis including weekends and holidays.
• Load, unload, and remove medical products, weighing up to 1680 pounds.
• Generate service revenue and complete activities required under service contract.
• Safely operate box truck vehicle or company car ranging in size from a cargo van up to a 26,000 pound truck.
