Job summary
Cross Technologies Inc. in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Scale Service Technician Level I to calibrate and repair customer industrial scales in the field. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel locally with some overtime and weekend hours.
A 2-year technical degree is preferred. You will enter calibration data into software and issue Certificates of Calibration, contributing to reliable measurement for diverse manufacturing
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical, electronic and / or technical background in industrial environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving history required.
- Welding and/or concrete knowledge is a plus.
- Military service or calibration experience a plus.
- 2 year technical degree preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance, calibration and/or repair of industrial scales.
- Respond to Call Service (Emergency) to fix and repair customer scales; overtime and weekend hours possible.
- Enter calibration data into calibration software and create Certificates of Calibration for customers.
