Job summary

Texas First Rentals (TFR) in Tyler, TX, seeks a Field Service Technician I to provide hands-on service for heavy equipment at an off-site location. You will diagnose, repair, recondition equipment, and document work while maintaining safety and customer relations.

Responsibilities include minor repairs, parts installation, and accurate reporting. A valid driver's license and required certifications are expected; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• More than one year of heavy equipment experience required; three or more years preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• MSHA and crane/rigger certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor repairs and troubleshooting offsite with minimal supervision.
• Removes/install parts, disassembles and reassembles basic components.
• Tests and verifies proper operation of repairs.
• Maintains customer records and writes service reports.
• Operates equipment with required licenses and certificates.
• Communicates job progress to supervisor and customer as needed.
