Job summary

Ring Power Corporation seeks a Service Field Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain customer or company-owned equipment, focusing on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. You will follow safety policies, wear PPE, complete required training, and document repairs with our software.

With 5–6 years of field experience and a valid driver’s license, you will manage parts usage to control costs, monitor job expenses, and mentor teammates. Hours vary, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 5-6 years experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Successfully completed all required training curriculum to be designated Service Field Tech I
• Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform repairs on customer or company-owned equipment including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain necessary tools required for job performance to diagnose, disassemble and assemble components to manufacturer’s specifications.
• Document repairs and track repair times using appropriate software.
• Monitor job expenses versus repair estimates and notify supervisor of cost overruns before job completion.
• Train or mentor others in the department and assist in supervising as needed.
• Participate in safety programs and ensure compliance with PPE requirements.
