Job summary

FLANDERS is a world leader in renewing machines for heavy industry, and our Casper, Wyoming Field Service team has an opening for a Field Service Technician I. The technician will diagnose, maintain, repair, install, or remove basic electromechanical motors and equipment on customer sites, often partnering with more senior technicians on complex jobs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or trade school in electrical/mechanical fields preferred.
• Two years of hands-on experience with mechanical or electrical equipment.
• AC/DC knowledge preferred, especially with motors.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read work scopes to determine job status and required authorizations.
• Analyze and diagnose motors and equipment prior to repair.
• Determine if repairs can be done in the field or require shop repair.
• Disassemble routine equipment and document parts and condition.
• Repair, install, or remove basic motors and equipment.
• Perform basic testing and document results.
• Operate test equipment and observe abnormal conditions.
• Provide outstanding customer service and maintain a safe work environment.
