Job summary

PepsiCo in Medley, FL is seeking an entry-level technician to install, set up, repair and maintain vending, cooling and fountain equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose problems, perform repairs, and ensure safety and compliance while building customer relationships.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift 20–45 pounds repeatedly, and willingness to complete Pepsi Pro certification within the required timeframe. Training provided on site.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on marketing equipment
• Unload and reload with products as necessary
• Educate customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep procedures
• Install equipment by making holes and route lines to connect products to dispensing unit, connecting water and gas supply and finding drains for units with ice
• Fill installed equipment and adjust to proper mixture
• Drive to location, evaluate situation and perform necessary work (may include plumbing, electricity, refrigeration, carpentry)
• Collect accurate and complete equipment and customer information
• Remove old parts and replace with new parts
• Maintain parts inventory on service truck
• Establish positive relationship with contacts at service calls
• After each call, complete documentation on e-pad
• Transport miscellaneous items (e.g., compressors for repair/scrap, cardboard for recycle, etc.)
• Follow all safety requirements, regulations, and processes
• Follow all driving rules and regulations when operating company vehicle
• Complete of all job role training modules ( Pepsi Pro training)
• Build competence and skill in diagnosis and repair of beverage industry equipment
• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
