Job summary

Rensa Filtration in Des Moines, IA is seeking an entry-level Field Service Technician I to support on-site installation of filters for commercial and industrial HVAC systems at customer sites, indoors and outdoors, including rooftops.

You will follow established procedures, prioritize safety, document activities, and develop foundational technical skills while assisting senior technicians and maintaining equipment; travel and lifting up to 50 lbs are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs and work in various environments and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of filters at customer sites according to standard procedures.
• Document service activities, including work performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in clean and working condition.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies during all service activities.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure service quality.
• Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or supervisors for resolution.
• Participate in training programs to build technical knowledge and service skills.
• Support inventory management by tracking parts usage and reporting shortages.
