Job summary

The Filter Shop, part of the Rensa Filtration family, seeks an HVAC Filter Service Specialist in Des Moines, IA to replace filters in commercial and industrial systems, indoors and on rooftops, while maintaining clean air and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Iowa driver's license and clean MVR.
• Pre-employment screening, includes 9 panel drug screen and background check for critical environments.
• HVAC experience is preferred but not required.
• Training provided to become NAFA Certified Technician (NCT) and/or CAFS.

Responsibilities

• Work indoors and outdoors, including rooftops.
• Follow all safety procedures and work independently post-training.
• Maintain integrity and professionalism in service delivery.
• Stay on feet up to 8 hours daily.
• Collaborate with Service Manager and team.
• Provide and maintain valid driver’s license and MVR records.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and handle tools and equipment.
• Maintain accurate job records and documentation.
