Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is hiring a Field Service Technician I in the United States. You will prepare medical products for patient use by cleaning, disinfecting, performing function checks, and minor repairs on Baxter and non-Baxter devices in hospitals and clinics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Candidate must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license required, DOT medical card required.

Responsibilities

• Move and inspect medical products in service centers, facilities, and homes.
• Load/unload Baxter products; maneuver equipment in trucks.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate repairs; perform cleaning and preventive maintenance.
• Provide on-call coverage, including weekends/holidays as needed.
• Navigate devices to enter or retrieve information.
• Demonstrate product use to hospital staff and caregivers.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment with 5S practices.
• Operate company vehicle ranging from van to 26,000‑pound truck.
• Lift up to 65 pounds with proper safety procedures.
• Wear PPE and complete safety/compliance modules and testing.
