Job summary

F6 Data Solutions is seeking Field Service Technicians to support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of large-scale data center cooling systems across the U.S. You will work hands-on with CRAH, IRHX, and DAHU equipment, performing checks, tests, and documentation.

The role requires 3–7 years in HVAC or industrial systems, strong troubleshooting, and willingness to travel up to 100%. Travel costs are covered, with per diem for meals and full remote support tooling via Microsoft Teams.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience with HVAC, mechanical systems, or industrial equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and piping diagrams.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.
• Willing to fly to work regions as needed.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mission-critical cooling systems in hyperscale data centers.
• Perform pre-functional equipment checks and assist with commissioning tests.
• Verify equipment installation and piping connections; identify system performance issues.
• Troubleshoot hydronic and glycol cooling loops, chilled water systems, and air handling equipment.
• Read electrical schematics and assist with diagnosing control issues.
• Maintain documentation and reporting; coordinate with startup leads and senior technicians.
