Job summary

F6 Data Solutions in the United States is seeking Field Service Technicians to support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of large hyperscale data center cooling systems.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience with HVAC, mechanical systems, or industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with hydronic systems preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and piping diagrams.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics and control systems.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.

Responsibilities

• Support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mission-critical cooling systems.
• Perform troubleshooting with minimal supervision and assist senior technicians during complex startup activities.
• Support startup and commissioning for CRAH, IRHX, and DAHU equipment.
• Execute pre-functional equipment checks and assist with commissioning tests.
• Verify equipment installation and piping connections and identify performance issues.
• Troubleshoot hydronic, chilled water, glycol cooling loops, and air handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot 120V/480V electrical systems and VFDs; read schematics and diagnose control issues.
• Coordinate with startup leads and field teams; maintain documentation and safety records.
