Job summary

Cavco Martinsville is seeking a Service Field Tech to repair and assemble building components on our homes. The role involves following work orders, performing repairs from flooring to roofing, and ensuring customer satisfaction on every job.

The ideal candidate has construction experience in flooring, trim, cabinets, tile, drywall, roofing, and related electrical finish work, with the ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work safely outdoors.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driving record and no criminal record.
• Construction experience in flooring, trim, cabinets, ceramic tile, drywall, roofing and finish electrical.
• Ability to walk, climb and lift up to 70 lbs.
• Always maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair flooring, ceramic tile, cabinets, trim, drywall, light fixtures, roofing or any other repair as needed.
• Maintain truck and tools in working order.
• Maintain accurate work records and logs.
• Provide customers and coworkers with a remarkable experience.
• Work in a safe manner and follow all safety policies while performing job duties.
• Follow work orders and instructions on correct service duties.
• Maintain open communication with supervisor.
• Demonstrate a good work ethic based on honesty and integrity.
• Perform various other job duties as assigned and needed.
