Job summary

Renuity is seeking a Field Service Technician—Home Remodeling to install or repair products at customer homes, traveling to sites and following our quality standards. You’ll explain issues to customers, fill out service reports, and ensure A+ service.

The role requires experience in window/door installation, home construction knowledge, and a valid license with own truck and tools. Competitive benefits accompany a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience in window and door installation and general home construction knowledge.
• Some experience in glass reglazing is required but additional training can be provided.
• Experience in bath, plumbing, or handy man experience.
• Own truck and tools
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

• Learn our processes and quality standards to deliver A+ customer service.
• Travel to our customer's homes to install new products or repair existing products.
• Take preventative measures, escalates any customer issues to the Service Department.
• Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performed.
• Explain issues with equipment and repairs to customers.
• Lift and/or move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, working with your hands, and repetitively grasping and manipulating objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for prolonged periods of time
