Stephenson Equipment, Inc. in the Harrisburg area is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and commission heavy construction equipment at customer sites. You will work independently with customers while supported by an experienced service team.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience repairing heavy construction equipment or related diesel-powered machinery.
Must have a valid driver's license with clean record.
Must provide and maintain professional mechanic's hand tools; specialty tools provided by SEI.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy construction equipment in the field and at SEI facilities.
Perform advanced diagnostics on diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, powertrain, and electronic controls.
Complete preventive maintenance inspections and warranty repairs.
Test equipment after repairs to ensure peak performance and customer satisfaction.
Respond to emergency service calls to minimize downtime.
Read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, hydraulics schematics, and bulletins.
