Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment (forklifts, loaders, excavators, trucks).
• Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance to maximize operational efficiency and safety.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other components.
• Replace worn parts using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision instruments.
• Test and adjust equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with specs.
• Maintain repair records; conduct on-site field service at job sites or remote locations.
