Job summary

Link-Belt Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Service Specialist to join our Ashland team. The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain construction equipment in the field, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely service.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, a CDL, and at least five years of related experience. You will read manuals, order parts, document work, and maintain a professional, safe work environment across job sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in diagnostic and repair work on construction equipment machinery.
• Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
• Must have Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform field service repairs to customer satisfaction.
• Order and obtain parts and supplies before arriving at the jobsite.
• Identify and procure additional items after inspection.
• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations; keep work area clean.
• Keep customer informed of repairs and any issues beyond the scope of the original service call.
• Document hours, parts used, and descriptions of work performed.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and vehicles are in good condition.
