Job summary

Blanchard Machinery seeks a Field Service Technician to maintain, troubleshoot and repair a wide range of heavy equipment in field and shop settings. You will diagnose diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical and mechanical systems, prepare service reports, and manage parts requisitions while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

Required are 3+ years on heavy equipment, a valid CDL-A, and a complete tool set.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience working on heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record; must possess a valid CDL-A.
• Must have a complete set of tools.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment including diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on heavy equipment.
• Prepare parts requisitions, timecards, repair reports and service documentation.
• Operate service truck and ensure total customer service.
• Work both in shop and in field environments; comply with safety procedures.
