Ohio CAT in Richwood, KY is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain Caterpillar machines in the field. You’ll work from a service truck, performing diagnostics on engines, drive-trains, electrical and hydraulic systems to keep customers' equipment running.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a diesel/power equipment tech program, 3+ years of industry experience, and at least 5 years of hands-on repair experience.

As a Field Service Technician, you’ll be at the heart of what we do: diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Caterpillar machines in the field. Whether it’s a dozer, excavator, wheel loader, haul truck, you’ll use your skills and experience to deliver top‑tier service that keeps our customers moving. You will work in the field from a service truck servicing and performing:
Lifting/Carrying 40 lb. Lift/Carry and 50lb pulling. Standing, sitting, and climbing up and down stairs, as well as standing, sitting, and climbing into machines. Dexterity Normal. Repetitive Motions: Frequent movements requiring the use of hands, wrists, and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
