Ideal candidates are mechanically minded, enjoy troubleshooting, and can work independently while communicating effectively with customers and internal teams. A valid driver's license and ability to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in field service, maintenance, or repair of industrial motors and pumps.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-service focus.
• Willingness to travel locally or regionally and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, service, and repair electric motors and pump systems at customer locations.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in field settings.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Document all service work, parts used, and recommendations clearly.
• Communicate findings and maintenance best practices to clients.
• Ensure safety and compliance with REM Industrial standards and OSHA regulations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely parts procurement and job completion.
