OMI Industries seeks a Service Technician to plan and execute service trips, perform in-field repairs, and test systems to ensure reliable operation. You will work onsite at customer sites and travel 70-80% of the time, supporting sales with technical guidance and customer relations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in assembly, field service, or electro-mechanical systems, strong ability to read schematics, and proficiency with Salesforce, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; advanced trade cert preferred.
• 3+ years in assembly, field service, testing, maintenance, or electro-mechanical systems.
• Ability to read schematics, engineered drawings, and blueprints.
• Prior field service experience is preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electro-mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of motors, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, and controls.
• Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate service trips with customers and the sales team.
• Develop relationships with customers through site visits, proactive check-ins, and follow-up.
• Work with motors, fans, relays, PLCs, and other industrial controls.
• Conduct electrical wiring, service work, and assembly tasks to support system functionality.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative visits to identify issues before downtime.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting to customers on-site and by phone.
• Travel to customer sites to service and maintain equipment.
• Support the sales staff with technical information and recommendations.
