Job summary

Ziplyfiber is seeking a Building Services Specialist to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on emergency backup generators and associated equipment. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of maintenance experience, as well as strong communication and planning skills.

The role involves physical demands such as operating a motor vehicle and handling equipment over 50 lbs. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in generator and/or diesel engine maintenance & repair.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative & corrective maintenance on emergency backup generators.
• Maintain maintenance records using CMMS work order tracking program.
• Make decisions in the field based on analysis and technical knowledge.
