Job summary

INNIO Group is seeking a Field Service Technician with strong mechanical and electrical expertise to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at customer sites. You will support engine commissioning and emphasize safety and dependable service.

The role requires hands-on experience with engines, generators, and compressors, plus knowledge of Waukesha, Ariel, Jenbacher, and CAT equipment. Fresh graduates are welcome with a training program and retention requirements.

Qualifications

• SMK or D3 in mechanical or electrical engineering with field service experience.
• 5+ years field service in oil & gas, machinery, or heavy-duty equipment.
• Diploma with 2+ years field service in oil & gas industry.
• Fresh graduates welcomed; training program and retention requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work on medium to large stationary natural gas equipment: engines, compressors, panels, generator packages.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections.
• Perform repairs and overhauls within established time guidelines.
• Troubleshoot engine, compressor, and generator malfunctions with high attention to detail.
• Assist installation and commissioning of new packages.
• Supervise maintenance and installation of packages as required.
• Collaborate with Service Team to evaluate repair requirements and provide recommendations.
• Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Participate in training courses for career growth.
• All work performed safely per company HSE policies.
